Sampling culture is booming, re-mixes are becoming more and more widespread but how far does the influence spread?

MOD Films is building the definitive database of film MODs, tracking re-use across all stories, all media, at both commercial and amateur levels, past and present. Join in the fun and help us take a snapshot of the business that dares not speak its name - from clever re-versioning, obvious influences, through to bad imitations and of course all those blatant rip-offs we know and love! We want to sell our films more widely by lowering the barriers to film sampling. We believe a more transparent system of attribution and credit sharing is the key to getting the ball rolling.
